Ayudha Puja is 1 of the most critically celebrated festivals in the South Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. When the exile was over, he was surprised to find that the weapons he had left had remained in the same place for so many days. He recovered the weapon and worshiped it and won the Kurushetra war. Then he came on the day of Vijayadashami and worshiped the Vanni tree. Thus on Dasami day, Vanni trees are worshiped in some parts of India.
